Women Leaders and their invisible work

The 2021 Women in the Workplace report by LeanIn.org and McKinsey & Company found that the essential, and often overlooked, work of supporting employees’ well-being and promoting DEI is being done disproportionally by women, who aren’t being rewarded or recognized for it.

Reading this article in HBR has made me pause and reflect on what this means for female leaders. Do you feel you are doing this "invisible work"? What more can be

done by organisations where this might be happening and to ensure it is acknowledged?

If you feel this is the case for yourself or your organisation then perhaps it's time to start that conversation.
