the leadership reset
The Leadership Reset
sustaining performance without the personal cost
The Leadership Reset supports senior leaders at pivotal moments when performance remains high, but the cost of sustaining it is increasing.
Pace, pressure and competing demands begin to erode clarity, capacity and judgement. What worked before no longer holds. Leadership becomes more urgent than intentional.
This work interrupts that cycle. It creates the space to think clearly about what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change, before the cost compounds further or the next stretch begins.
It is a focused, time-bound intervention, typically over three to four months. It begins with a structured audit to identify where capacity is being lost and where to intervene. From there, we work on the specific shifts in habits, boundaries and leadership practice that restore focus, energy and effectiveness.
This work is often most valuable ahead of a significant transition, ensuring the foundations are in place before demands increase again.
This work is most useful when leaders are:
operating at an unsustainable pace
carrying high levels of complexity and demand
losing clarity, focus or effectiveness under pressure
wanting to sustain performance without personal cost
Leaders leave with:
renewed clarity and direction
stronger boundaries and leadership habits
improved focus and decision-making
greater confidence and momentum in how they lead
— and, as a result, the capacity and readiness to take on the next stretch of leadership.
For the organisation, this means:
sustained high performance without the hidden cost of burnout
increased leadership capacity at critical moments
reduced risk of overload, disengagement or underperformance
Our Methodology
At Randolph Partnership, every coaching relationship follows a simple, disciplined structure: Discover – Design – Deliver. It’s a way of working that creates clarity, shapes intention, and supports meaningful progress , developed over many years of working closely with senior leaders and teams.
-
We begin by slowing the pace enough to see what’s really going on. Through careful conversation and attention to what matters most, we surface the patterns, assumptions, and pressures that are shaping behaviour and decisions.
This stage creates a shared understanding of the work ahead and avoids rushing to solutions too early.
-
Once there is clarity, we work in partnership to design a coaching approach that fits the reality of the situation. This is where judgement matters. We name the real work, agree priorities, and shape a route that is stretching but workable.
Each design is bespoke, drawing on commercial understanding, systemic insight, and creative practices refined through years of working alongside leaders in complex organisational settings.
-
This is where insight turns into action. The work becomes focused, practical, and anchored in day-to-day leadership decisions. We support leaders to try things out, reflect honestly on what’s happening, and adjust as needed.
Accountability is part of the partnership. We are clear about intentions, we come back to commitments, and we pay attention to what’s changing and what isn’t. The aim is not activity for its own sake, but progress that holds. Delivery remains responsive, grounded, and shaped by the values that guide our work.
